Wine Tasting Event - "The Terraces"

Last July my friend and I visited The Terraces vineyards in St. Helena. We took a tour and tasted some of their wines. The weather was perfect, allowing beautiful views of the vines to go along with the great wines and great people. It felt so relaxing... and their wines were outstanding! At the time the wines we tasted were not yet released. However their hand crafted wines are now available and after waiting patiently we are excited to offer all four of their new releases for sale this Wednesday during this event. The Terraces produces Chardonnay, Zinfandel, Petite Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon in limited quantities in Napa Valley. Come to Artisan and meet the people behind these wonderful boutique wines.

Wine Tasting Event - "O'Brien Estate"

Meet Bart, proprietor of O'Brien Estate in Napa, and taste his romantic wines. One of the wines that will be available for tasting will be his "Seduction" - one of our best sellers, it is a red blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot from the Oak Knoll District of Napa. It was given 90 points by the Wine Spectator.
Come to Artisan and meet Bart - you will see for yourself how his passion for winemaking is clearly imbued in every bottle that he produces.

"Fun Blind Tasting"

Come to Artisan this Wednesday for a fun blind tasting that will confuse, amuse and intrigue as we discover the differences between California and Germany. In addition, we will serve a Muscat Canelli from Paso Robles to wrap up the tasting for the evening – you will love this dessert wine!
Zoe will share fun facts about the grapes that you are trying – and as always Chef Jenny will whip up some tasty appetizers to indulge your taste buds on this tasting journey.

We have a new artist at Artisan! Please join us as we welcome Averyl Veliz and check out her wonderful art work. In addition, while you view Averyl's amazing work, beautiful Megan will be on hand to pour wines from Jeriko Estate for your enjoyment. Megan will pour four different wines from Jeriko - one white and three different reds. Great appetizers from Chef Jenny will also be available for your enjoyment.

Cold Summer Drinks for Hot Summer Nights
Help Artisan welcome in the summer with an array of tasty, cold white wines to cool down the warm evenings. Head on down to Artisan this Wednesday as we enjoy four different chilly wines and some great snacks. We’ll taste a picnic-perfect rosé from Borra Vineyards, an uncharacteristically sweet blend of Grenache and Syrah. Next we’ll move on to Palmina’s Tocai Fruilano, an Italian grape varietal little known and hard to find in sunny California; Palmina sure knows how to make it tasty though! As we continue, we’ll indulge in an Anderson Valley Sauvignon Blanc from Field Stone: perfect for those hot, sunny days. Finally we’ll treat ourselves with one of Artisan’s most popular whites: Gregory Graham’s Viognier. This Viognier is a typically sweet for the varietal, yet the sugar content balances perfectly with the rich body to produce a fantastic wine great for any time, especially now!

Located in Santa Maria , Ca, in Santa Barbara County (the heart of “Sideways” country), Rancho Sisquoc Winery makes numerous yummy varietals. We’ll be here with tasty appetizers to dazzle all your senses as we indulge in four different wines from Rancho Sisquoc. Come along and join the fun!

We’ll have some of Artisan’s yummy snacks to pair with your wine, and of course, discounted bottle prices on all the featured bottles.

We’ll be here Wednesday evening with Diane and Dennis from Eric Ross Winery as well as meteorologist Steve Paulson from KTVU Channel 2 News! He won’t be telling you about the weather, but he will be telling you about the wine! Steve introduced Artisan to these great wines, and now he’s here to share them with you as well.
Eric Ross Winery is a small producer of extraordinary fine wines. They believe in starting with the finest ingredients to produce the finest end result. This is, of course, made possible by their prime location in the heart of Sonoma County . Diane, Dennis and Steve will be pouring four different wines from the Eric Ross repertoire for you to swish around and enjoy. We’ll taste a Chardonnay, a Roussanne/ Marsanne mix, a Pinot Noir and a Zinfandel. Four different flavors from one great cellar! To go along with these tasty sips we’ll feature some of Artisan’s most popular appetizers as well. Come with all your questions and excitement and let Eric Ross Winery, Artisan, and our very own celebrity, Steve, show you a good time.
